Yorkville, incorporated in 1853, was the first neighbourhood to be annexed by the city of Toronto. Officially part of the Annex neighbourhood, Yorkville is bordered by Yonge Street and Avenue Road on the east and west and Bloor Street and Davenport Road to the south and north.
